A native Georgian, Amanda Hiatt has called North Carolina home for nearly 35 years. Since arriving at Salem College in 1992, this city has always had a piece of her heart and imagination. After stints in Charlotte and St. Louis, Amanda and her family returned to Winston-Salem in 2012 and settled in the Buena Vista neighborhood.‍ ‍
